Get started

  1. Install the profile from the Marketplace, or double-click the .streamDeckProfile file and choose Install in the Stream Deck app.
  2. Select the profile on your Stream Deck. PREV and NEXT at the bottom right move between the 10 pages. The MORE key opens a folder with more keys of the same page, and BACK returns.
  3. Keep DaVinci Resolve in front, on the page the keys are for (Edit or Color), and press a key. Nothing needs to be imported into Resolve: the keys use Resolve's default keyboard shortcuts.

Questions

A key does nothing.
Check that DaVinci Resolve is the active window and that the right page is open (an Edit page key acts on the Edit page). Timeline keys such as Blade and Trim need the timeline to have the keyboard focus: click the timeline once, or press TIMELINE on the Pages & Panels page. An open dialog or popup takes the keys until it is closed.

A key does something else.
The keys send DaVinci Resolve's default shortcuts (keyboard preset "DaVinci Resolve"). If you use another preset or changed a shortcut (DaVinci Resolve > Keyboard Customization), change that key's Hotkey in the Stream Deck app to match, or switch back to the default preset.

Which DaVinci Resolve versions?
The keys use the default keyboard preset "DaVinci Resolve" of DaVinci Resolve 21 (taken from the preset exported from DaVinci Resolve 21.1.1).

Keyboard layouts.
The keys send letters, digits, F-keys, arrow keys, Space and Backspace (with Ctrl, Shift or Alt). No symbol keys of the main keyboard are used. Shortcuts that exist only on symbol keys (for example trim and nudge on [ ] , .) and on Home, End and Delete are not included.

Keys that remove.
Delete (Backspace) and Ripple Cut (Ctrl+Shift+X) remove clips from the timeline. Both keys are red, on the Assemble & Clips page. Undo is on the Edit & File page.

Mac, Stream Deck XL or Stream Deck +?
This version is for Windows with the 15-key Stream Deck (MK.2). Other devices are not covered in this version.

Compatibility
