| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| WAIT | The plugin is starting. |
| INSTALL | The game module is not in ETS2 or ATS yet. Close the game and press Install in the key's settings (see Getting started). |
| START GAME | Waiting for ETS2 or ATS to start. |
| LOADING | The game is starting and has not shared its values yet. |
| UPDATE DLL | The module in the game is from another version of the plugin. Close the game and press Update in the key's settings. |
| OTHER SIM | Another game loaded the module. The keys read ETS2 and ATS. |
| PAUSED · STALE (dimmed key, amber frame) | The game is paused, or its values have not changed for 3 seconds (loading or stopped). The last values stay readable but dimmed. |
| READ ERROR (red) | Windows refused to let the plugin read the game's values. Please send us the error number shown on the key. |
Open the key's settings and read the Status line: it says how the last press was sent, or why it was not. If the game does not take the press from its control device, give that control a keyboard key in the game's Controls: the plugin reads it from your profile and sends it while the game is the active window.
Close the game first: a running game keeps the module in use. If Windows protects the game folder, the key's settings show the file and the folder to copy it to; copy it there yourself.
Install looks for the games in your Steam libraries. For another copy of the game, copy bin/game/gramshift_hauldeck.dll from the plugin's folder into <game folder>/bin/win_x64/plugins/ yourself; the key's settings show this too.
Yes. By default the units follow the game you play: ETS2 shows km/h, km and liters, ATS shows mph, miles and US gallons. Each key can also be set to metric or US units by hand.
No. One press of a Stream Deck key switches one control, as if you used it in the game; the horn, window and air suspension keys hold their control for the time you set. It never presses anything by itself and has no macros. A Value Cycle set to switch by itself only changes what the key shows.
No. It reads the key bindings of your profile and never writes to it. The only file it puts into the game is its module, and Remove deletes it again.
