This app does not collect personal information. Your oils and amounts, lye and water settings, saved recipes and display settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers.
This app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect an advertising identifier for ad delivery. See Google's policy. Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent form (Google UMP) before ads appear.
The one-time purchase that removes ads and the one-time Pro purchase (seller tools) are processed by Google Play billing. Google handles the payment details; we never receive them.
The app itself requires only internet access (for ads and the purchase — the calculator works offline). The ad SDK (Google AdMob) and the billing library add further permissions automatically, such as network state, the advertising identifier and Google Play billing. It never requests camera, location, contacts, photos or storage access.
Saved recipes, batch records, and the ingredient prices, business name, address, contact and logo you enter in Pro live on your device only; they are never sent to our servers, and they are removed from the device when you uninstall the app. If you have Android backup turned on (saved to your own Google account), Android may back this data up together with your other app data and restore it when you reinstall with the same account or move to a new phone. That backup is stored by Google in your account; we never receive it. A logo is read only from the single image you pick in the system picker, shrunk and kept on your device (no access to your photo library is requested). You can export and import a backup from the settings screen; we never receive its contents.
This app is not directed at a particular age group and collects no personal information. Lye is a hazardous chemical; soap making should be done by adults.
Results are a guide. Oils vary by origin and harvest, and lye by purity. SAP and related values are the middle of the ranges published in the Codex Alimentarius standards, pharmacopoeias and similar sources. Double-check your recipe before you start, and wear gloves and eye protection. We accept no liability for outcomes arising from use of this app. This app does not provide medical or health advice.
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced in an app update or on this page.
