Getting started

  1. Install the plugin from the Elgato Marketplace.
  2. In the Stream Deck app, find System Monitor for Windows in the action list and drag CPU, Memory, Disk or Network onto a key.
  3. The key starts showing a live number within a few seconds. Press a Disk key to move to the next drive, and a Network key to switch between download and upload.

Common questions

The Network key shows "--".
Network speed is read through Windows PowerShell, which is included with Windows. If PowerShell is blocked or removed on your PC (for example by a company policy), the Network key shows "--" and the other keys keep working.

CPU usage is lower than in Task Manager.
The plugin shows the same measure as Windows "% Processor Time". Task Manager on Windows 11 uses a different measure ("Processor Utility"), which can read somewhat higher, especially when the CPU is boosting.

Network speed does not change when I copy files on my own PC.
Only physical network adapters (Ethernet and Wi-Fi) are counted. Traffic that stays inside your PC is not counted.

Does it work on Mac?
No. This plugin is for Windows 10 or later only.
