Your drive stays on your PC. The plugin does not collect or send any data about you or your computer. While one of its keys is on your Stream Deck, it reads values of the train you drive from Train Sim World running on the same PC, keeps the latest values in memory and draws them on your keys. When you press a Cab Button or a Custom Control, it sets that one control of your train. It has no account, no online service, no analytics and no telemetry of its own, and it never sends anything over the internet.
-HTTPAPI.Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld…\Saved\Config\CommAPIKey.txt (or uses the key you paste in the settings) and sends it only to the game on this PC. To find your Documents folder, it reads the folder's location from the Windows registry with the Windows tool reg. The key is never shown, logged or sent anywhere else.TrainSimWorld.exe) is running, with the Windows tool tasklist, so that a key can say "the game runs but its interface is off". Only the answer yes or no is used; the list of programs is not stored or sent.| Data | Where it is kept | Sent to |

| The game's access key | Read from the game's file, or the key you pasted (kept by the Stream Deck app in the plugin's settings on your computer) | Only Train Sim World on the same PC |
| Key settings (units, the Cab Button's control, the Custom Control's control, press, value and label, port) | Your Stream Deck profile, saved by the Stream Deck app on your computer | Nobody by the plugin (the Stream Deck app's own profile features follow Elgato's privacy policy) |

The plugin is sold on the Elgato Marketplace. Purchases, payments and licenses are handled by Elgato (Corsair) and its payment provider under Elgato's own terms and privacy policy. GRAMSHIFT never receives card details. If Elgato provides us with sales records (for example the date, country and amount of a sale), we use them only for accounting and tax.
If you contact us, we receive what you choose to send (for example your email address, your message and any screenshots). We use it only to answer you. Email to contact@gramshift.com is forwarded by our email forwarding provider (ImprovMX) to a mailbox hosted by Google (Gmail), so those providers process support emails on our behalf. Please do not send passwords, the game's access key or other secrets.
The plugin works only as a tool on your own computer: GRAMSHIFT does not receive or process anything from it. For sales records and support emails, GRAMSHIFT is the controller. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering requests and on legal obligations (for example tax records). GRAMSHIFT is based in Japan, so this information is processed in Japan and by the providers named above.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing contact@gramshift.com. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Uninstalling the plugin from the Stream Deck app removes the plugin and its log file; removing its keys removes their settings, and emptying the API key field removes the pasted key. The plugin keeps no other data. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle the request and meet legal obligations; you can ask us to delete them. Sales records are kept for up to 7 years for accounting and tax.
If the plugin ever starts to send data or store other data, this policy will be updated before that change is released, and the date above will change.
