Email contact@gramshift.com in English or Japanese. Ideas for new shapes and features are welcome, and every message is read. For a bug, please include your Windows version (Settings > System > About), how many monitors you use and their scale (Settings > System > Display), the game's display mode, your Stream Deck app version, and a screenshot of the key's settings page (its Status line says what the key is doing).
| Setting | Choices |
|---|---|
| Shape | Dot, cross, cross with dot, T-shape (no top arm), X, circle, circle with dot, circle with cross, chevron (^) |
| Color | 10 preset colors (green, cyan, yellow, red, magenta, orange, white, blue, purple, black) or any custom color |
| Outline | Black, white or none: an outline keeps the crosshair readable on light and dark scenes |
| Size, thickness, center gap | Arm length 2 to 60 px, thickness 1 to 8 px, gap 0 to 30 px. Real screen pixels. |
| Opacity | 20 % to 100 % |
| Position | Move right and down from the middle of the screen, in pixels (minus: left and up) |
| Screen | The main screen or any screen you choose |
| In exclusive fullscreen | Hide the crosshair (recommended) or keep it shown |
| Key look | Classic, Neon, Ring, Bars or Solid |
Put several Crosshair keys on your Stream Deck, each with its own settings. Pressing another one switches to it at once; pressing the one that is on hides the crosshair. The crosshair stays when you switch Stream Deck pages.
Add Move Crosshair keys: up, down, left, right by 1, 2, 5, 10 or 25 px, or back to the middle. Each press moves the crosshair that is shown and saves the new position in that Crosshair key, so it is there next time. Useful for third-person games, where the aim point is above or beside the middle.
For a game that runs in a window: bring the game to the front and press Borderless Game Window. The title bar and frame go away and the game fills the crosshair's screen, so it looks fullscreen with the crosshair on top. With the game in front, press again to put it back: the same frame, position and size as before. You can also choose another screen, or the screen without the taskbar. Windows changed this way are put back when the Stream Deck app closes.
A game in exclusive fullscreen (the classic "Fullscreen" option) shows its picture above every window. While one covers the crosshair, the crosshair steps aside and its key says BORDERLESS?; when the game leaves exclusive fullscreen, the crosshair comes back. Choose Borderless in the game's display settings, or choose Windowed and press Borderless Game Window. To keep the crosshair shown anyway, set In exclusive fullscreen to Keep it shown on the key's settings page.
The plugin reads your screens and the window in front, only on your PC. It records nothing and sends nothing to GRAMSHIFT or anyone else. Full details: Privacy Policy.
| You see | What it means |
|---|---|
… on a key | The plugin is getting ready (a few seconds on the first press). |
BORDERLESS? | A game in exclusive fullscreen covers the crosshair, so it stepped aside. See "Exclusive fullscreen" above. |
EXCLUSIVE on Borderless Game Window | The game in front is in exclusive fullscreen. Choose Windowed in the game first, then press the key. |
STOPPED | The helper that shows the crosshair stopped. Press the key to start again. |
ERROR | The crosshair could not be shown. The Status line in the key's settings says why; "screen not connected" means the chosen screen is unplugged: pick another one. |
ERROR on a work PC | The crosshair is shown by Windows PowerShell, which comes with Windows. Some company PCs limit PowerShell (for example AppLocker, WDAC or Constrained Language Mode). Ask your IT team to allow Windows PowerShell for the Stream Deck app, then press the key again. |
FAILED on Borderless Game Window | The game did not take the new frame or size, so it was put back as it was. Some games manage their own window. |
Windows 10 or later, Stream Deck 6.9 or later. Works on keys. No administrator rights needed; nothing else to install.
