Contact

Email contact@gramshift.com in English or Japanese. We reply within 7 business days, usually sooner. Please include your Windows version, your Stream Deck app version, the game and where you bought it (Steam, Microsoft Store or Xbox app), the text of the "Status" line in the key's settings, and, if possible, a screenshot of the key and of its settings. Ideas for new keys are welcome too.

Set up the game (once)

  1. Drag a key of Race Deck for Forza Horizon 6 onto your Stream Deck and open its settings. Note the UDP port (20830 unless you change it).
  2. In the game open Settings > HUD & Gameplay > Data Out and set:
  3. Drive. The Status line in the key's settings shows "Receiving ... data" and how many packets arrive each second.

All keys share the same port, so you set the game only once. If you change the port in one key, change it in the game too.

Game on an Xbox or a second PC

  1. In a key's settings choose "This PC and the network" in Receive from.
  2. In the game enter the network address of the PC that runs the Stream Deck app (for example 192.168.1.20; in Windows: Settings > Network & internet > Properties, IPv4 address) and the same port.
  3. If nothing arrives, check that Windows Firewall allows Stream Deck on private networks.

The keys

KeyWhat it shows
Performance TimerChoose a test: 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph in imperial units), 400 m (quarter mile) with trap speed, braking 100-0 km/h (60-0 mph), or top speed. Stop the car: READY. Drive off: the run is timed from the moment the car leaves zero. The key shows the last run and the best run of the car you drive; a new best shows NEW BEST in purple. A pause, a rewind, a menu or a car change during a run shows INVALID and the run is not saved. Clear the records of one car or of all cars in the key's settings (press twice).
GearThe gear (R, N, 1 to 10), shift lights and a number you choose. The lights fill as the engine nears the shift point and flash at the shift point. Shift point: Automatic (learned from the engine while you drive) or a share of the highest rpm from 75% to 98%. On a Stream Deck + dial: gear and a light bar on the touch strip; turn the dial to change the number.
ReadoutOne value: speed, engine speed, boost, power, torque, fuel, or class and PI.
TyresThe four tyres in their places on the car, colored by temperature or by grip (slip).
RaceOverview (position, lap, lap time and delta), the delta to your best lap, position, last lap or best lap. Outside a race it shows NO RACE.
Game ControlA labeled key for rewind, change view, horn, map, photo mode or a control you name yourself. It only sends a key: assign the same key to that control in the game's controls.

Every key has the settings Look (Classic, Neon, Carbon) and Units (km/h, m, °C, bar, kW or mph, ft, °F, psi, hp). The language follows the Stream Deck app (English or Japanese).

Send game keys from a key

  1. In the game's control settings, assign a key to the action, for example F13 to Rewind. Keys F13 to F24 are not on most keyboards, so they do not clash with anything.
  2. Enter the same key in "Key to send" in the Stream Deck key's settings, for example F13, Ctrl+Shift+E, Num5 or Alt+Up.
  3. By default the key is sent only while the game is the active window ("Only while the game is the active window"). The game is recognised by its program name in Game program, ForzaHorizon6.exe by default. For Forza Motorsport, or if your copy of the game uses another name, add its program name there (the Status line shows the name of the window that was in front after a press).
