Ideas and bug reports

Email contact@gramshift.com in English or Japanese. Ideas for new features and bug reports are welcome, and every message is read; we do not guarantee a reply time. Please include your Windows version (Settings > System > About), your Stream Deck app version, the station or stream address, and a screenshot of the key's settings page (its Status line says what the plugin sees).

Get started

  1. Install Internet Radio for Windows from the Elgato Marketplace.
  2. In the Stream Deck app, find Internet Radio for Windows in the action list and drag Station onto a key.
  3. In its settings, under Station from, keep Search the directory. Type a name or genre in Search, and choose a Country if you like. With nothing typed, the list shows the most popular stations.
  4. Click a station in Results. The key now shows the station. Press it to play, press it again to stop.
  5. To use your own stream, choose Stream address instead and paste the address (.mp3, .aac, .m3u or .pls) in Address. Name on key sets the name shown on the key; leave it empty for the station's name.

Troubleshooting

What you seeWhat to do
The key says it plays, but there is no soundThe radio plays through the Windows default speakers or headphones. Check which output is the default in Windows (Settings > System > Sound). Then check the plugin's own volume and mute: the Status line of a Volume key shows them, for example Volume 35% (muted). Press a Volume key set to mute / unmute, or turn the volume up.
Offline on a Station keyThe station's address did not answer, or the stream stopped or did not start, three times in a row. Press the key to try again. The Status line in the key's settings says which of the two it was.
No song title on the keyThe station does not send one. The Status line then says Playing now (this station sends no song titles).
NO PLAYER on a keyThe player could not start. The Status line in the key's settings shows the reason. Press the key to try again. Security software or a company policy that blocks PowerShell scripts can stop the player; allow it there. If it keeps failing, send us a screenshot of that Status line.
The radio keeps playing after I deleted its keyThe radio keeps playing when its key goes away, so that it also keeps playing when you switch profiles. Press a Play / Stop key or push the Stream Deck + dial, or quit the Stream Deck app.
A search shows The station directory did not answer. The station directory did not answer. Check the internet connection; the search tries again when you type.
