These terms are an agreement between you, the owner of the Wix site where the app is installed, and GRAMSHIFT, the provider of the app. Wix.com Ltd. is not a party to these terms. Wix hosts the app, runs the App Market where you install it, and processes payments for paid plans. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms.
One Submission Per Email checks submissions to the Wix Forms forms you choose to protect. When an email address has already been used on a protected form within the time period you set, the submission is stopped before it is saved and the visitor sees the message you wrote under the email field. An address counts as used only once Wix saves its submission, so a submission that is not saved, such as an unfinished payment, does not use it up. You can let one person submit again with Remove entry, or start a form over with Clear entries. The app works with forms built in the current Wix Forms app.
The Free plan protects one form and includes every rule and tool: the time period, your message, the Gmail rule and the reset tools. The Pro plan protects all of the forms on your site. The prices shown on the app's pricing page in the Wix App Market at the time you buy apply.
Paid plans are bought, renewed, cancelled and refunded through Wix, under Wix's terms and policies. GRAMSHIFT does not take payments itself and never receives your card details. When a paid plan ends, the app goes back to protecting one form, as on the Free plan.
While the app is installed on your site, you may use it for that site. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the app, try to get around the plan limits, or reverse engineer it, except where that right cannot be excluded by applicable law.
You decide to collect email addresses on your forms and are responsible for doing so lawfully, including telling your visitors in your own privacy policy that entries are checked so each address can submit once. You choose which forms to protect, the time period and the message visitors see, and you handle visitors' requests to submit again or to have their entry removed.
The app keeps only salted one-way hashes of email addresses (and, while a submission is being saved, of the visitor ID Wix sends with it), in a private collection on your own Wix site, and sends nothing to GRAMSHIFT or to anyone else. The collections belong to your site. If they remain in your site's CMS after you remove the app, you can delete them there. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
The app is designed never to block your form because of its own problems. If the check cannot finish within about three seconds, or a Wix service it relies on returns an error, the submission is let through rather than stopped, so a repeat entry can occasionally be saved. Two submissions with the same address sent within moments of each other from the same browser can also both be saved. Submissions you create yourself through the Wix API are not checked before they are saved, and forms made with the legacy Wix Forms app are not checked. Wix may limit how many writes a site's CMS accepts per minute, which can affect very busy forms on free Wix sites.
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GRAMSHIFT is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost entries, lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer rights in your country of residence.
You can stop using the app at any time by removing it from your site. If the app is ever withdrawn from the App Market, we will post a notice on this page first.
These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published on this page, and the date above changes when it is updated. If a change affects paid plans, it applies from your next renewal.
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
