What the keys do
Made for Japanese and US layouts
The keys send letters, digits, F-keys, navigation keys and the numpad keys + - . /, and no symbol keys of the main keyboard, so they have the same key codes on Japanese and US keyboards. The Stream Deck sends the numpad keys: no physical numpad needed.
Chords and intervals on single keys
Add a note A to G to a chord, or an interval from unison to a 10th above or below, with one press. Octave up and down, sharp, flat and enharmonic are on Pitch & Chords.
MuseScore's default shortcuts
Every key sends a shortcut MuseScore Studio already knows. Each key was sent to the real MuseScore Studio 4.7 and 4.6. There is nothing to import into MuseScore.

Every key sends a default shortcut of MuseScore Studio, so your MuseScore settings stay as they are.
Keep MuseScore Studio in front with the score selected. Most keys act on the selected notes or measures, as the same shortcut does in MuseScore.
Keys that remove or close: Delete, Cut, Delete Measures and Close. Undo brings back what Delete, Cut and Delete Measures removed.
Changed a shortcut in MuseScore? Edit that key's Hotkey in the Stream Deck app.
Set up in 3 steps

- Double-click the .streamDeckProfile file. The Stream Deck app imports it.
- Select the profile on your Stream Deck, keep MuseScore Studio in front with the score selected and press a key.

How do I put MuseScore Studio shortcuts on a Stream Deck?
Double-click the Notehead Keys profile file and the Stream Deck app imports it. Select the profile, keep MuseScore Studio in front with the score selected and press a key: 167 labeled keys on 10 pages send MuseScore's default shortcuts.
Do I need to change any shortcuts in MuseScore Studio?
No. Every key uses MuseScore Studio's default shortcuts, so your MuseScore settings stay as they are. If you changed a shortcut, edit that key's Hotkey in the Stream Deck app.
Which Stream Deck is it for?
Stream Deck MK.2 (15 keys), on Windows. The download holds the profile for that model.
Does it work with a Japanese or US keyboard?
Yes. The keys send no symbol keys of the main keyboard, only keys with the same key codes on Japanese and US layouts. The Stream Deck sends the numpad keys too, so no physical numpad is needed.
Why does a key do nothing?
MuseScore Studio must be in front with the score selected. Most keys act on the selected notes or measures, so select notes first, as you would before pressing the same shortcut on the keyboard.
How do I reach the rest of a big page?
Bigger pages have a MORE key that opens a folder, and BACK at the top left returns. PREV and NEXT at the bottom right move between the 10 pages.
Is there anything to activate after buying direct?
No. You download a zip with the profile file and a README. There is nothing to activate and no account to create.
How do I get the file again?
Email contact@gramshift.com from the address you paid with, and include your order number, or the payment date and amount. We check the purchase and send a new link to the download page.
Can I get a refund?
Direct buyers, yes. If the profile does not work with your Stream Deck and MuseScore Studio, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. The download closes after a refund.
Does it work on a Mac?
No. The keys send the Windows shortcuts of MuseScore Studio, so it is for Windows only.

Limitations
- For Stream Deck MK.2 (15 keys) on Windows. There are no profiles for other Stream Deck models, and no macOS keys.
- Made for MuseScore Studio with its default shortcuts. Changed a shortcut in MuseScore? Edit that key's Hotkey in the Stream Deck app.
- Shortcuts that exist only on symbol keys of the main keyboard are left out, such as natural (=), hairpins (< >) and layout stretch ({ }).
- Also left out: tablature-only keys, keys used only while typing text or lyrics, panel navigation keys, Quit (Ctrl+Q) and the handbook (F1).
