Iromi Color Swatches links products that are the same item in different colors, such as a T-shirt saved as one product per color, and shows them as color swatches on the product page and on product cards. Each swatch opens that color's own product, with its own price, photos, stock and Add to cart.
Email contact@gramshift.com in English or Japanese. Questions, bug reports and ideas are all welcome, and every message is read. For a problem, please tell us your store's myshopify.com address, your theme's name, the product or collection page where you see it, what you expected and what happened, and add a screenshot if you can.
Want to try it on a test store first? Import our sample products file (CSV) in Products > Import: a Classic Tee in 4 colors with different prices and photos, Wool Socks in 7 colors and a mug.
Install Iromi Color Swatches, click Create group, pick the products that are the same item in different colors, give each a swatch name and color, and save. Then click Add to product page and Turn on card swatches and save in the theme editor. Each swatch opens that color's own product.
You can link every color with swatches without Shopify Plus. Iromi Color Swatches shows your separate color products as swatches on the product page and on each collection card, on any store with the Online Store channel and an Online Store 2.0 theme. It works differently from Shopify's Combined Listings app (a Shopify Plus feature): it does not create one parent product for all colors. Each color stays its own product with its own collection card, URL, photos and stock, and a swatch opens that color's page.
Yes. Each swatch opens that color's own product page, so the price, photos, stock and Add to cart are the ones of the color the shopper picked. Sale prices and the currency your theme shows work as usual, because the page is your own product page.
No. The app does not add anything to the cart. Shoppers add the product they are looking at with your theme's own Add to cart button, so the cart holds exactly that product and size.
Yes. Each color is its own product, so your theme shows that product's full photo gallery, not a single image, and each color keeps its own URL.
No. The swatches are a theme app block and an app embed that you add, move and switch off in the theme editor. Nothing is written into your theme files, and when you remove the app the swatches stop showing in your store.
Yes. Each product keeps its own variants. A typical setup is one product per color, with sizes as that product's variants. The swatches switch the color; your theme's variant picker still chooses the size.
Yes. Leave the swatch color empty and the product's photo is used as the swatch, which suits prints, patterns and materials.
Yes. A color whose product is sold out stays in the row and is marked as sold out on its swatch, so shoppers can still open it and see that it is unavailable.
Yes. Turn on the Product card swatches app embed. Each card shows the swatches of its group; hovering a swatch shows that color's photo and tapping it opens that color.
Online Store 2.0 themes that support app blocks. We test on Dawn and Horizon. If card swatches do not appear on your theme, see the advanced settings above or email us.
Up to 50 products per group. A product can belong to one group at a time.
Only the swatches are removed. Your products stay exactly as they are.
The swatch labels shoppers see are available in English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish and Swedish. The app's admin pages are in English. Swatch names are written by you, in any language.
The plans and their prices are listed on the app's Shopify App Store page. Billing is done by Shopify on your Shopify invoice. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the app's Plan page, which opens Shopify's plan page; removing the app also ends the charge. If you move to a plan with fewer groups, the groups over the limit are paused: they are kept, hidden from your store, and come back when you upgrade or delete other groups.
The product page swatches are part of the page your theme renders, with no extra script. Card swatches use one small script that loads after the page and reads swatch data from your store's own Shopify Storefront API.
Iromi Color Swatches links separate products. A product whose colors are variants can still join a group with other products; its own variants stay in your theme's variant picker.
No. The app does not read orders or customers, and shoppers' browsers never contact our server. Details: Privacy Policy.
