Contact

If something does not work, or you would like a new key or feature, write to contact@gramshift.com in English or Japanese. We read each message and answer within 7 business days, usually sooner. Please add your Windows version (Settings > System > About), your Stream Deck app version, whether you play on Steam or Epic Games, and a screenshot of the key and its settings (the Status line of the settings shows what the key is doing right now).

Get started

  1. Install the plugin from the Elgato Marketplace. In the Stream Deck app, find Scoreboard for Rocket League in the list of actions.
  2. Drag the keys you want onto your Stream Deck, and add Game Data Setup once.
  3. Press Game Data Setup twice (the first press shows PRESS AGAIN). It turns on the game's own match data in the setting file the game reads, and keeps a copy of each file it changes, named .rldeck-backup.
  4. If Rocket League was running, restart it once (the key shows restart the game). This is needed only the first time.
  5. Join a match, a replay or a spectated game. Game Data Setup shows receiving when the game's data arrives, and the keys fill in.

What the keys show

KeyShowsPress
Score & ClockBoth teams' goals in their colors and the match clock, with OVERTIME, REPLAY and PAUSEDNothing
My StatsYour goals, assists and saves; then shots, touches and demolitions; then your match points. In a replay or when you spectate, the player the camera is on, with "watching" and their name on topNext page
Boost & SpeedYour boost with a bar and your speed (km/h or mph in the key settings), with SUPERSONIC and DEMOLISHEDNothing
Last GoalHow fast the last goal went in, who scored and who assisted. Before the first goal: NO GOAL YET and the hardest hit of the match so far, by any playerNothing
Session RecordWins and losses, the win or loss streak and the percent won. Each match you play is counted once; replays and matches you only watch are not counted. Matches against bots and private matches count tooTwice to start a new session
Replay ControlOne command chosen in the key settings: show or hide the HUD, pause and resume, replay speed (1x, 0.5x, 0.25x), ball camera, a player's camera, director camera or auto camera. The key shows what a press does, and "sent" for a moment after a press. Only pause shows the game's answer (PAUSE or RESUME). Where the game does not take the command, the key says where it works and sends nothing. The HUD and speed keys show the last value sent from the key, so they can differ if you change the HUD or speed in the game; the next press sets the value shownSends that command to the game
Game Data SetupON only when the game's setting file is on, then restart the game, start the game, waiting for data or receiving. Also OFF, NO DATA, NOT FOUND or COULD NOT WRITETwice to turn the data on

Status words: NO GAME means Rocket League is closed. NO DATA means the game runs but sends no match data: press Game Data Setup twice and restart the game. If Game Data Setup itself shows NO DATA, its file is on but nothing arrives: restart the game, and see the key's settings for what to check. IN MENU means you are between matches; the game shares nothing in its menus. NO PLAYER means the camera is not on a player.

Turn the game data on by hand

Use this if Game Data Setup shows COULD NOT WRITE. The key's settings name the exact file on your PC and the line to change. Windows can ask for administrator rights in the game's install folder.

  1. Close Rocket League.
  2. Start Notepad as administrator and open TAStatsAPI.ini in <your Rocket League folder>\TAGame\Config\. If that file does not exist, open DefaultStatsAPI.ini in the same folder instead (that is the file the game reads then).
  3. Find the line [TAGame.MatchStatsExporter_TA]. If a PacketSendRate line is under it, change it to PacketSendRate=20; if not, add the line PacketSendRate=20 right under it. If the file has no such line at all, add these two lines at the end:
    [TAGame.MatchStatsExporter_TA]
    PacketSendRate=20
    Save the file.
  4. Start Rocket League again and join a match. The Game Data Setup key shows ON and then receiving once the game's data arrives.

Leave Game port in the key settings empty: the plugin reads the game's setting from the same file by itself.

Questions

The camera, pause or replay speed keys do nothing. Replay speed and pause work in replays, and the camera keys in replays and while you spectate. Elsewhere the key shows where it works and sends nothing.

The player camera shows the wrong player. Set Player number (1 to 8) in the key settings to the number the game shows next to the player when you spectate. A number outside 1 to 8 shows PLAYER? on the key.

My session record did not count a match. Matches you only watch and replays are not counted. A match is counted once when it ends; a match you leave before the end is not counted.

How do I undo the change to the game's file? Close the game and open <your Rocket League folder>\TAGame\Config\. The backup tells you which file the plugin changed:

Do not delete DefaultStatsAPI.ini when it has no backup: the plugin did not change it. With Rocket League in both Steam and Epic Games, do this in each folder.

Compatibility

Windows 10 or later, the Stream Deck app 6.9 or later, and Rocket League on PC from Steam or the Epic Games Store. Consoles are not supported. Keys and key settings in English and Japanese.

Privacy

The plugin reads only the match data the game itself shares on the same PC and sends nothing over the internet. See the privacy policy.

If it still does not work, write to contact@gramshift.com. We will help you.
