Window Peek for Windows shows a window, or part of your screen, live on a Stream Deck key, even when other windows cover it.
An Alert When Idle key lights up when the window stops changing, so you know the build or the answer is done. Press a key to bring its window to the front.

What the keys do
Peek Window
Shows a window live on the key, even when other windows cover it. Show the whole window or a part of it, with a new picture every 0.5 to 30 seconds. Press the key to bring the window to the front.
Screen Region
Shows a rectangle of your screen live, such as a chart or a counter. Set its corners by pointing with the mouse.
Alert When Idle
Blinks amber once the window has changed and then stayed still for the time you choose, from 5 seconds to 10 minutes. A blinking text cursor does not count as a change. Press to clear it and jump to the window.
Pick the window from a list
Choose an open window in the key's settings. After a restart, the key finds it again by its program and title.
Pause and go on
Press a Screen Region key to pause it: the last picture stays, dimmed. Press again to go on.
Watch a window or a region
Alert When Idle can watch a window or a screen region, and you choose how big a change counts.

An Alert When Idle key shows the window and a word for where it is: waiting for a change, changing, or done and still.
Your pictures stay on your PC
The pictures never leave your PC. They go only to the Stream Deck app and are never written to disk.
Pictures are taken only while the key is visible, and never while the PC is locked. Apps that ask Windows not to be captured are never shown.
The only thing that goes online is the license key check.
Set up in 3 steps
- Open the plugin file you download after buying. The Stream Deck app installs it.
- In the Stream Deck app, drag Peek Window, Screen Region or Alert When Idle onto your Stream Deck and enter your license key once in its settings.
- Pick a window from the list, or set a screen region. The key shows it live right away.

Questions
Can Stream Deck show a window live on a key?
Yes. Add a Peek Window key of Window Peek for Windows and pick the window from the list. The key shows it live, even when other windows cover it, and a press brings it to the front.
How do I know when a long build or an AI assistant is done?
Add an Alert When Idle key and pick the window. Once the window has changed and then stayed still for the time you choose (5 seconds to 10 minutes), the key blinks amber. A blinking text cursor does not count as a change.
Can it show only part of my screen?
Yes. A Screen Region key shows a rectangle of your screen live, and a Peek Window key can show only part of a window, such as the bottom half. Press a Screen Region key to pause and resume it.
Are the pictures of my windows sent anywhere?
No. The pictures go only to the Stream Deck app on your PC and are never written to disk. The only thing that goes online is the license key check.
Does the key find the window again after a restart?
Yes. The key remembers the window's program and title, and finds the window again after a restart.
How many PCs can I use with one license key?
Up to 3 of your own PCs. If you replace a PC, write to us and we free up a place for the new one.
How do I get new versions if I buy direct?
Download the latest version from your thank-you page or the license key page you received. Your license key keeps working. If you cannot open your license key page, email us as the "Recover your license key" page explains.
What if I lose my license key?
Email contact@gramshift.com from the address you paid with, and include your order number, or the date and amount you paid. We check the purchase and reply with a link to your license key page.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, for a direct purchase. If the plugin does not work on your PC, email us within 14 days of purchase and we refund the full amount. The license key stops working after the refund.

- ¥780, the same amount as on the Elgato Marketplace. Tax for your country is added at checkout.

- Handled by Stripe through Link, Stripe's checkout service. Link appears as the seller on your receipt and card statement, and your card number never reaches GRAMSHIFT.

- Your license key and download link appear right after payment, and the receipt arrives by email.
- Refunds
- If the plugin does not work on your PC, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. You can also ask Link support. The license key stops working after a refund.

- One key for your own use on up to 3 PCs.

- The direct checkout is not offered in Ascension Island, China, Cuba, Iran, Kosovo, North Korea, Russia, Syria or Tristan da Cunha.

Limits
- Windows only.
- Minimized windows, copy-protected video and some full-screen games cannot be captured; the key says so.
- The direct version checks its license key with our server when you activate it, each time the plugin starts, and about once a day while it runs. If it cannot reach the server, it keeps working for up to 44 days after the last successful check.
