What we store
- The Steam app ID you checked and the result of the check (game name, header image link, which store languages show translated text). This is public information from the Steam store. We keep it so the same page isn't checked again within 24 hours and to understand which store languages games use.
- The time of the check.
What we don't store
- We don't store your IP address with your check. Checks are not written to our web server's logs. To limit how many checks one visitor can run, your IP address is held only in server memory for up to 24 hours and is never written to disk.
- The free check needs no account and no email address. We never ask for your Steamworks login.
- This page sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising scripts.
If you upload files or order a translation
- Your uploaded files. The store page files you upload are kept on our server so we can show the free sample and, if you order, translate them. If you don't order, they are deleted after 7 days. If you order, the files and the finished zip are deleted 30 days after your files are ready.
- Translation. To write the sample and the translations, the text of your store page is sent to the API of Anthropic, the AI company. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, text sent through its API is not used to train its models. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Payment. Payment is handled by Stripe through Link, which appears as the seller on your receipt. We never see your card details. See Link's privacy policy and Stripe's privacy policy.
- Your email address. The email address you give at checkout stays with Stripe. We don't write it to our own disk. If we email you about your order, we read it from Stripe for that message only, and we never send you newsletters or advertising.
- Order record. We keep a record of each order (order number, Stripe payment reference and the upload it belongs to) for accounting and refunds.
Server logs
When you open this page or its images, our web server keeps a standard access log entry (time, requested file, browser type, IP address) for about two weeks for security and troubleshooting. The checks themselves, including the app ID you enter, are not written to these logs. These logs are not used to identify visitors.
