Empty the Recycle Bin and watch drive space from Stream Deck keys
To empty the Windows Recycle Bin from a Stream Deck, add Recycle Bin & Drive Space and put its Recycle Bin key on your Stream Deck: press it to open the Recycle Bin, hold it to empty it. A Drive Space key shows how much space is left on any drive in GB or TB, as a percentage and as a bar, and turns red when space runs low.

What you can do
See what is in the Recycle Bin: the key shows the number of items and their total size, for the Recycle Bins of all drives.
Know at a glance: gray when empty, an amber border when there is something in it.
Open or empty with one key: press to open the Recycle Bin, hold 1 second to empty it.
Keep a last check: Windows shows its own confirmation dialog before emptying by default. You can turn the dialog off, or turn hold-to-empty off entirely.
Watch any drive: internal, USB or network, with the space left in GB or TB, in percent and as a bar.
Get warned before a drive fills up: the key turns red below the threshold you set (5 to 30%, default 10%).
Open the drive in File Explorer with a press. A pulled-out USB drive shows as disconnected until you plug it in again.
Runs on your PC with no account and no telemetry; nothing is sent to us or to any online service.
Updates every few seconds. English and Japanese.
How it works
Install the plugin from the Elgato Marketplace. In the Stream Deck app, drag Recycle Bin onto a key.
Press the key to open the Recycle Bin, or hold it for 1 second to empty it (Windows asks first, by default).
Drag Drive Space onto another key, choose a drive and the level at which it turns red.
The keys show what Windows reports at that moment, so a file deleted a moment ago shows within seconds.
How do I empty the Recycle Bin with a Stream Deck?
Add a Recycle Bin key and hold it for 1 second. By default Windows shows its own confirmation dialog first; set Before emptying to do not ask to empty at once, or set Hold 1 s to do nothing to turn emptying off.
Does it work with USB and network drives?
Yes. Every drive with a letter can be chosen. A drive that is pulled out shows not connected and comes back when it is plugged in again.
Can it empty the Recycle Bin of one drive only?
It counts and empties the Recycle Bins of all drives together, like the Recycle Bin on the desktop.
Can I get emptied items back?
Emptying works like Empty Recycle Bin in File Explorer: the items are deleted for good and cannot be restored. Keep Before emptying on Windows asks me if you want a last check, or set Hold 1 s to do nothing.
Why does the size differ a little from File Explorer?
The key shows what Windows reports at that moment, rounded down (for example 9.95 GB shows as 9.9 GB). A file deleted a moment ago shows within 3 seconds.
Limits
Windows only (Windows 10 or later). Not for Mac.
Emptying the Recycle Bin deletes the items for good. They cannot be restored, by this plugin or by Windows.
Emptying covers the Recycle Bins of all drives at once.
Items Windows cannot delete (in use, no permission) stay in the Recycle Bin, and the key says so.
