300 one-press Blender shortcuts on your Stream Deck
To use a Stream Deck with Blender, install Vertex Deck, a profile with 300 one-press keys for Blender's default keymap on 10 pages for the Stream Deck MK.2 (15 keys) on Windows. It is built for both Japanese and US keyboard layouts, the numpad views work even on a keyboard without a numpad, and it matches the default keymaps of Blender 5.2 LTS and 4.5 LTS.
Stream Deck profile · For the Stream Deck MK.2 (15 keys) on Windows with the Stream Deck app (7.6), and Blender with its default keymap.
What you can do
Navigate the viewport: numpad views, orbit, zoom, local view and X-ray, even on a keyboard without a numpad.
Model faster: move, rotate, scale, add, duplicate, join, parent and apply; in Edit Mesh, select modes, extrude, inset, bevel, loop cut, knife and merge.
Sculpt from the deck: 10 brushes, size, strength, masks and face sets.
Unwrap and animate: UV Editor (unwrap, pin, stitch, seams, align) and Dope Sheet / Graph Editor (play, keys, interpolation, easing).
Rig and build nodes: copy and paste pose, IK, push, relax, bone roll; node add, group, mute, links and frames.
Handle files and editors: save, render and editor switching.
Works with your keyboard: only letters, digits, numpad keys, F-keys, Tab and Space are sent, with the same key codes on Japanese and US layouts.
Room for every page: 30 keys per page, with MORE keys opening folders for the rest.
How it works
Install the profile from the Elgato Marketplace and select it on your Stream Deck.
PREV and NEXT at the bottom right move between the 10 pages; the MORE keys open folders with more keys of the same page, and BACK returns.
Move the mouse pointer over the Blender editor you want to control (for example the 3D Viewport), then press a key.
Blender sends a shortcut to the editor under the mouse pointer, and many shortcuts work only in one mode, so put the object in the mode of the page you use (Object, Edit, Sculpt or Pose Mode).
Install the Vertex Deck profile and select it on your 15-key Stream Deck. Move the mouse pointer over the Blender editor you want to control, such as the 3D Viewport, and press a key; PREV and NEXT move between the 10 pages.
Which Blender versions does it match?
The keys match the default keymaps of Blender 5.2 LTS and 4.5 LTS. Each key sends the same command in both.
Can I use the numpad views without a numpad?
Yes. The numpad views work even on a keyboard without a numpad.
Does it work with a Japanese keyboard?
Yes. It sends only letters, digits, numpad keys, F-keys, Tab and Space, whose key codes are the same on Japanese and US layouts, so it is made for both.
A key does nothing. What do I do?
Check that the mouse pointer is over the right editor and that the object is in the mode of that page (Object, Edit, Sculpt or Pose Mode). A popup such as the splash screen also takes the keys until it is closed.
Does it work on Mac, Stream Deck XL or Stream Deck +?
This version is for Windows with the 15-key Stream Deck (MK.2). Other devices are not covered in this version.
Limits
Made for the 15-key Stream Deck (MK.2); Stream Deck XL, Stream Deck + and other devices are not covered in this version.
Windows only; not for Blender on Mac.
Needs Blender with its default keymap; a changed shortcut needs the key's Hotkey changed to match.
Shortcuts on symbol keys, arrow keys and Home/End/Page keys are not included.
