167 one-press DaVinci Resolve shortcuts on your Stream Deck
To use a Stream Deck with DaVinci Resolve, install Cutline for DaVinci Resolve, a profile with 167 labeled keys for Resolve's default keyboard shortcuts on 10 pages for the Stream Deck MK.2 (15 keys) on Windows. It is import-free, so your Resolve settings stay as they are: keep Resolve in front and press a key on the Edit or Color page.
Stream Deck profile · For the Stream Deck MK.2 (15 keys) on Windows with the Stream Deck app, and DaVinci Resolve 21 with its default keyboard preset.
What you can do
Play and move: play, stop, reverse, fast forward, frame steps and edit-to-edit steps.
Mark: in and out points, mark clip, markers and flags, subclips.
Cut with the edit tools: select, trim, blade, slide, snapping, split clip, edit points and fades.
Assemble the timeline: insert, overwrite, replace, place on top, append, fit to fill, transitions, retime and freeze frame.
Work with tracks: target, auto select, lock and enable tracks.
Grade on the Color page: serial, parallel and layer nodes, splitter, power windows, bypass, stills, wipe, versions and memories.
Jump between Resolve pages and panels: Media, Cut, Edit, Fusion, Color, Fairlight and Deliver, or focus the timeline, media pool or inspector.
Every key has its own picture and label, pages with more keys open a MORE folder, and the keys that remove clips are red.
How it works
Install the profile from the Elgato Marketplace and select it on your Stream Deck.
PREV and NEXT at the bottom right move between the 10 pages; the MORE key opens a folder with more keys of the same page, and BACK returns.
Keep DaVinci Resolve in front, on the page the key is for, and press a key.
Each key sends one of Resolve's default shortcuts (keyboard preset "DaVinci Resolve") to the active window, so timeline keys such as Blade and Trim act when the timeline has the keyboard focus.
Install the Cutline for DaVinci Resolve profile and select it on your 15-key Stream Deck. Keep DaVinci Resolve in front, on the Edit or Color page, and press a key; PREV and NEXT move between the 10 pages.
Do I need to import a keyboard preset into Resolve?
The keys send Resolve's default shortcuts, so the profile is import-free and your Resolve settings stay as they are.
A key does nothing. What do I do?
Check that DaVinci Resolve is the active window and that the right page is open. Timeline keys such as Blade and Trim need the timeline to have the keyboard focus: click the timeline once, or press TIMELINE on the Pages & Panels page.
I changed a shortcut in Resolve. Will the keys still work?
The keys send Resolve's default shortcuts. If you changed a shortcut or use another preset, change that key's Hotkey in the Stream Deck app to match, or switch back to the default preset.
Does it work on Mac, Stream Deck XL or Stream Deck +?
This version is for Windows with the 15-key Stream Deck (MK.2). Other devices are not covered in this version.
Limits
