Set app priority from a Stream Deck key
To set a program's priority from a Stream Deck, add App Priority Keys for Windows and press a key: it puts the Task Manager priority setting on your Stream Deck, such as high for a game or low for a heavy background app. A key can set the priority again each time the program starts, so your choice stays after the program restarts, and another press puts the old priority back.

A priority tells Windows which program goes first when the processor is busy with more work than it can do at the same time.

Click the game so it is in front, then press a Front App Priority key set to High. The key reads the priority back from Windows and shows HIGH; press again to put it back.
Yes, with Automatic. Windows starts every program at Normal, so turn on Automatic on an App Priority key and keep that key on a page that is showing; the plugin then sets the priority again each time the program starts.
A priority decides which program goes first when the processor is busy. If the processor is not busy, or the game is limited by the graphics card, you will see no difference, and High can make streaming software or voice chat stutter; then use Above normal or press the key again to put it back.
A program on Realtime is served before parts of Windows itself, and a busy one can freeze the mouse, the keyboard and the whole PC. The settings offer five priorities, from Low to High.
The plugin does the same thing as Set priority in Task Manager, from another program. If a game forbids tools that touch its process, do not use the plugin on it.
